I had a very disappointing experience here. I booked a full-body massage because I wanted to relax from head to toe, especially since I am only 19 days postpartum after a C-section. Before the massage, I clearly explained that I had recently given birth by C-section. Unfortunately, the massage therapist did not seem to understand what I was telling her. She just smiled and said ok ok, and then used extremely strong and rough pressure on my back. At only 19 days postpartum, I expected much more care and communication. The massage itself was also nothing like the full-body massage I booked. She spent almost the entire session on my back, while my legs were barely touched. I repeatedly asked about a head massage, but she couldn’t understand me. When she finally did it, she tangled and painfully pulled my very long hair, covered it in oil, and left it completely messy. On top of that, she repeatedly left me during my appointment to attend to walk-in customers. I was literally lying there waiting while my paid massage time was being interrupted. I eventually asked to add 20 minutes because of all the time that had been lost. I have a newborn waiting for me at home, so I specifically planned my time around this appointment. What really shocked me was at checkout, after all of this, she directly asked me if I was going to pay the service and tip together and then asked how much are you going to tip? I found that extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially considering the quality of the service and all the interruptions. I came here hoping to have a relaxing postpartum full-body massage and left feeling more stressed than when I arrived. This was absolutely not the experience or service I paid for.
